Over nearly a decade at a smart home technology company, I honed a diverse range of skills that have become the foundation of my professional expertise. From marketing strategy and instructional design to video production and app development, I implemented innovative solutions that bridge technology and user experience.

This role sharpened my ability to manage complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver impactful results. It also solidified my passion for combining modern technology with creative problem-solving to achieve strategic goals. My time in the smart home industry not only sharpened my technical and creative abilities, but also deepened my passion for integrating modern technology with thoughtful interior design, especially in historic homes, as I believe that they can be efficient and sustainable.

As a creative marketing leader  I strive to utilize my skills and holistic knowledge of design, product, organization, media and communications to ensure consistency and present a cohesive brand message, on budget and on time. I specialize in e-learning development, including instructional design and how-to videos, providing solutions for various projects, such as organizational change, on-boarding, staff training, etc.

Currently, I am immersed in restoring a Victorian Second French Empire-style home. This full-time project blends project management, budgeting, and problem-solving with my passion for preserving architectural integrity while integrating modern smart home technology. The result is a seamless marriage of history and innovation, demonstrating my dedication to detail and creativity. I have also embraced learning hands-on skills such as glass cutting and glazing, woodwork, spackling, and wallpaper installation, further deepening my appreciation for craftsmanship and detail.

While focusing on this restoration, I continue to engage with freelance marketing and design work, applying prompt engineering techniques to streamline content creation processes and generate innovative solutions using AI tools and ensuring I stay connected to the industry and keep growing my creative skill set. Adaptability, resourcefulness, and a commitment to learning are at the heart of both my professional and personal pursuits.

Born and raised in Poland, I earned my master’s degree in marketing and management there before beginning my professional journey. My first junior role was at a regional court, where I quickly identified opportunities to modernize outdated techniques and processes. Driven by a proactive mindset, I implemented improvements that enhanced efficiency and demonstrated my ability to adapt and innovate. These early experiences shaped my approach to problem-solving and set the foundation for my career.

Beyond my professional expertise, I’m deeply passionate about all things house and home. My love for design began in childhood, when sketching house plans and interiors was my favorite pastime and sparked my appreciation for character and detail in architecture and interior design. Today, I relish saving and exploring historic homes, open houses, designer show homes, and renovations. I enjoy tackling DIY projects, gardening, frequenting antique shops, flea markets, and home improvement stores.
